Gorgeous Photo Shoot

Recently we were asked by the lovely Beth of Pearl and Willow to source some vintage crockery. We love to source vintage crockery so here at myvintageparty HQ we jumped at the chance! Beth wanted to have a 'Madhatters Tea Party" themed photo shoot of her beautiful wedding hair accessories and jewellery. A must for any stylish bride! You can visit the Pearl and Willow online boutique here!

Here's a few photos from the shoot. Doesn't the crockery look yummy! And more importantly, how stunning is all that jewellery!

If there is anyone else out there that would like me to source vintage crockery for their company, please visit myvintageparty or click here to contact me!

Vintage at Goodwood Event!

To all you vintage lovers out there (that's most of you then!), I think this may be right up your street!!! It's certainly up mine and I can barely wait till August...

Goodwood are putting on a vintage event, taking place over a weekend, celebrating five decades of British Cool! Here are some photos from their website showcasing what they have on offer! Yes, that's right, they 've got a vintage hair salon, an old fashioned fair, a vintage market, dancing, and afternoon tea served in vintage china to name a few things!

You can stay for the whole weekend to take it all in, I definately will be! They have a posh campsite - "Those of you lucky enough to have some decent disposable income (or lucky enough to avail yourself of a corporate sponsorship package), there will be some proper posh camping (think of those glamorous set-ups in the Serengeti (except you are unlikely to see any Elephants or Zebras on the South Downs), complete with chefs cooking you breakfast with organic produce from The Goodwood Estate". Or like me, I'll be staying in the vintage caravan park in Lola!!!

See you there...! Here's the link to the Vintage at Goodwood website!

Lola gets her photo in the press...

Wow, I can't believe it is over a month since I last posted! Sorry guys. And sorry for my lack of comments on other blogs. I took a 'blog holiday' whilst i've been working hard promoting my vintage crockery company. It all seems to be paying off though and i've had lots of lovely people writing lovely things about my company!

First up, I thought i'd show you this article in the Caravan Club Magazine. I was so chuffed to see Lola in print and I was really happy with the write up. I thought I was going to get a tiny little space but we got half a page! Yay!

I also just wanted to thank some other companies for writing about myvintageparty lately...

Dollyblake, a lovely online shop selling lots of lovely things wrote this

Intimate Weddings, another great blog with some stunning weddings on, wrote this

MumsRock, the place for mums to shop, are kindly promoting items that we sell in our online shop!

The Wedding Daze, bespoke wedding and event planners wrote this on their blog

Natasha Bailie, a FAB vintage clothing company wrote this

And last but not least, Retro to Go a guide to all things hip and retro wrote this post about us!

Phew, so as you can see I've been a busy busy bee! And that's not all. We will also being featured in a National Wedding Magazine at the end of January!

Hope this post wasn't 'dull' for my regular readers, just wanted an opportunity to thank all of the above companies for sharing the vintage crockery and caravan love!!!

Vintage Cake Stands For Sale

Hi all

Hope you are all fabulous...?! Sorry its been a bit quiet on the blog front, and sorry for the lack of comments on other blogs. I've had to take a step back from blogland whilst i've been trying to get through my long list of jobs on my to-do list!

Anyway, behind the scenes, my marvellous webmaster (you know who you are!) has been working like a trooper updating my website. It has had a bit of a makeover including new photos and information as well as a vintage shop selling vintage tea cup candles and vintage cake stands. I now declare the shop officially OPEN!

So, if you fancy buying a cake stand or tea cup candle for a loved one this Christmas, take a look at the website here.

I hope you all like the new look website! And, I will be round all your blogs soon to see all the lovely things you've been making or have thrifted!
