Lola the vintage caravan is FOR SALE

After much debating, we have decided to sell little Lola the caravan so that we can put the funds into our new larger Carlight Caravan for our growing family!

As you probably know, I currently hire the caravan out for Photo Shoots, TV, Media Events, Wedding Shoots and garden parties so if you do decide to bid, she would be an ideal kick-start for any vintage business. The caravan has been featured in several national magazines, blogs and on national TV. The most recent TV appearance was on T4 for V Festival where musicians including Jessie J, Kaiser Chiefs, Olly Murs, The Inbetweeners and many others were interviewed in the caravan! She has also exhibited at vintage festivals, the most well known being Vintage at Goodwood where Wayne Hemingway stepped inside to have a look!

She has been really well loved and no expense has been spared. She is completely solid and dry with no damp or leaks. Like we have, you'd have the most unforgettable holidays in her or she'd make a fabulous home office or children’s play den!

Please have a look at my listing on ebay here..... and let the photos below speak for themselves! Tempted??!!

Crockery fit for Royalty

Guess what?! We can now add to our list our customers, Royalty!!! Yes, thats right, we we recently asked to supply one of the Royal Boats taking part in the Thames Diamond Jubilee River Pageant with crockery fit for royalty! So of course we happily obliged!

The boat we supplied was called Havengore and was simply stunning! We delivered the crockery to the boat on the Friday before at St Katharines Dock and had a good mooch around and took lots of photos! The dock was stunning with all the boats decorated in bunting! The husband and I were planning on going into London on the Sunday to watch the Pageant but the rain and cold put us off so we stayed in the cosy warm and watched it on TV instead! We got to go back to London on the Monday though to collect the crockery and go on the boat again, dressed in it swaggs and stunning flowers!

Members of the Royal Family who embarked on the Havengore for Thames pageant were The Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Plus the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson and former Prime Minister John Major were also on board supping out of our cups!!!

So if you are planning on hiring crockery for your next event, and would like to use the exact same crockery that the Royals used, please call us and request the 'Royal Package'. We are offering this as a package and it includes the following:

40 Cups and Saucers
40 Tea Plates
4 Two Tier Cake Stands
4 Milk Jugs
4 Sugar Bowls
4 Milk Jugs
2 Large Fruit Bowls

Price including washing up £175.00 (excludes delivery/collection charges)

My giveaway Prize!

Recently, I was lucky enough to win the most fabulous giveaway prize on Kitschen Pink's blog! I would highly recommend visiting Kitschen Pink, it is an absolutely gorgeous blog and sure does brighten up my day! The giveaway was to win a stunning piece of jewellery from Lisa Leonard Designs - you can visit their shop here and their blog here! Lisa kindly decided to offer an item of jewellery to the lucky winner! How generous is that?! When I checked out the Lisa Leonard website, I had all my fingers and toes crossed that I would win as her jewellery is truly stunning! To enter the giveaway, you had to leave a comment of your favourite thing about the arrival of Springtime. Mine went like this:

What I love about spring? Waking up early to sunshine shining through the windows, hanging out the washing in a lovely spring breeze, watching my chickens bask in the sunshine and of course daffodils! I LOVE spring!

Anyway, enough waffle on what I love about spring! The postman called early the other day and I was thrilled when I realized what it was (I still didn't think I'd really won something!). Here is my gorgeous necklace that I had engraved with mine and my husbands names - the necklace was called 'Dew drop' too and as our surname is Dew I thought it was very fitting!

Ready, let's open the box then!
Oooh! How exciting!
Here goes...
How stunning is my necklace! And the back of it...

Thank you to Lisa Leonard Designs and Kitschen Pink, I really love my necklace and can't stop wearing it!
